i shouldnt have to tell you why you should like them...
this site is the end-all-be-all of band sites. its well maintained, simple to get around, and it even
includes a dictionary with little quips of info such as:
Roswell Records - The Foo Fighters Record company. Stated by Mr. Grohl himself. However this isn't a real record company. The Foo Fighters are the only band on the label. It was basically created so the Foo Fighters could have more control over their music.
Nixon, Dale - Pseuydonym that Dave used while recording Buzz Ozborne's solo album. Buzz Ozborne A.K.A "King Buzzo" is from the Melvins. Dave plays drums on all tracks.
Frogs, The - Band who originally wrote "Satans In The Manger". See also Satans in the manger
Double Drum Intro - Also called intro. During the 1997 Tour Dave and Taylor would start off the show doing a drum off (both of them on drums) to a jam. It was quite the site, I recommend getting a video with it on it. Now, you can catch a taste of this in the beginning of "My Hero", but with Dave just guesting on Taylor's floor drum or timpani
Carry On My Wayward Son - Kansas cover which was played live two times in July of 1997. The first time was on 7/5/97 the second on 7/18/97. Both times Dave pulled someone else on the stage to sing because he didn't know the words.
All About The Benjamins [Rock Remix] - Sean "Puffy" Combs song which Dave helped to rewrite as a rock song. It appears on Puffy's Been Around the World Single. Written and Produced by Sean Combs and Dave Grohl.
